What is wrong with blue light?

Nowadays blue light is everywhere; on your screens, from the LED lighting in your home, your alarm clock, street lights, and even the little LED power indicators on all your devices.

Trouble is, blue light suppresses melatonin, a hormone naturally produced in darkness. Without sufficient melatonin, we don’t sleep well.

Will I be able to see properly without blue light at night?

Yes! You will quickly get used to the gentle yellow hue. Your eyes will feel more rested, and before you know it, you will feel sleepy and ready for bed.

Are there occasions when I should not use blue light-blocking glasses?

Don’t drive with blue light-blocking lenses. Road signage colors will be less visible and you may feel sleepy.

Don’t wear them during the daytime - they are meant to be worn in the evening before going to bed.
